Re: at what rpm should v-tech kick in?

Mine is 6000...but my power doesn't drop till right after 6100 without it... Smoothest transition I've ever felt. Then again, my H22 isn't stock.

Re: Questions regarding H23 to H22.

Unless fuel mileage is a major concern, get the H22 tranny. The gearing is designed that if you do it right in WOT, you won't fall out of VTEC. However, the H23 tranny DOES bolt right up.
You will...

Re: Reverse Lights not working

I read somewhere on here that besides that, certain changes with the wiring harness can **** it up. After engine work, I put in a P28 with S300 and the only other thing was a OBD2A->OBD1 conversion...

Reverse Lights not working

Have a 98 Prelude.

I've confirmed that the bulbs are good. The cable is plugged into the transmission, all other connectors are good, and the fuse is good. All other lights work properly.
I've...

Re: 1980 RHD Prelude Build Thread *OldSkool & 56k Warning*

This car will be more rewarding that if someone found a 01 with 0 miles and drove it.
It's truly one of a kind. Kudos!

Re: Might be a stupid question

If you don't want the engine to go boom after driving it for so long, yes.

That's like asking if you HAVE to wipe your ass. Technically, no, but you're going to smell like shit and have it all...

Re: exhaust smell after cat delete?

You can sell the cat to a scrap yard. The metals inside are considerably valuable. The refund you can varies, but it can practically pay for a new cat.
Please get a new one asap.

Re: BB6 head lights

You can get some Depo headlights for like $250 or less on eBay. They make stock replacement for much cheaper than OEM's brand new. Plus you can get them with the black housing like the white Prelude.

Re: I have mugen headers.

New, isn't the Mugen header like $1100? Which is ridiculous cause it's not much better than DC or Megan, and you're really buying the name.

It depends on the condition what the price will be. Post...

Re: 93 h22 gettin hot on the HWY

Well, that certainly is a good sign...
Are you running 100% coolant or is it a good mixture with water? I'm not sure if that would make it run hot, but it's still something not recommended to do.

Re: 93 h22 gettin hot on the HWY

Re: h23swap in 1998 prelude?

P13 is a VTEC ECU, and unless your H23 is VTEC, I don't recommend trying to drive far with it. You need a P14. If the car is already swapped to OBD1, you need an OBD1 P14.
