Definitely recommended.

U can hone the cylinder walls then run stock honda pistons with new rings.

If you don't want the engine to go boom after driving it for so long, yes.

That's like asking if you HAVE to wipe your ***. Technically, no, but you're going to smell like **** and have it all over your clothes if you don't.

Yes. Resleeve. FRM cylinder walls do not like forged pistons. An option for you could be Type S pistons. 11.0 to 1 comp.

You can use Mahle Gold Series pistons without resleeving, but you have to be spot on with the clearances. And no, you will be hard pressed to come close to 300 whp with even 11.5:1 compression.

Read this thread:
https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-prelude-4/all-h-f-series-hybrid-motors-cr-thread-1482111/
If you are stroking and changing rods, you will want to clay the motor to make sure you have clearance between piston and valves, if the gasket is too thin, you WILL break things.

Read through all that and i understand it but its saying if i use a f23 crank standard bore (87mm) i would need stronger rods so just buy eagle f23 rods for strength and just toss type s pistons on top. i guess i need to figure out with skink2 pro series 3 cams and flat tops valves if that would work or if i need to go with my usdm pistons

F23 DOHC Vtec
Head: H22 Vtec
F23 Crank and Rods
97mm stroke * 87mm bore = 2306.5cc

Compression Ratio with:
USDM H23 pistons: 9.86:1
USDM H22 pistons: 11.72:1
JDM H22 pistons: 12.51:1
H22 Type S pistons : 13.04:1
This is what I was referring to, clearances will be very close between piston and valve. I dont see the need for aftermarket rods here, unless someone else has some wisdom there.

"Also, dont think that the thin as ***** stock f23 rods and stock hardware are gonna take anything more than 6800 rpm" i would have to use f23 rods and if thats true above then i would need different rods
