Yeah the default on that alarm is to have the ground-when-armed grounded during remote start. It is unclear by the instruction manual if they are referring to the orange/black on the ribbon harness...

I personally would love to own a stock Type R. But at $10+, no matter how much I might love and respect the car, I just can't justify it. I'd much rather spend a little bit more for a newer car....

It's a little difficult to do if you haven't done it before. The antenna has a center wire and a shield. You'll have to insert the center wire through the center of the new antenna plug and solder...

Don't put the crossovers under the seat. Too much moisture and nowhere for it to go. Put them up under the glovebox or somewhere.

On second thought; the tail light harness should not have been touched at all by the alarm installer. No installer would go all the way back there. What do you mean by "messed up"? Was it tapped into...

It all should be very obvious once you drop to driver's side lower dash cover. The parking light wire is red/black and they usually go to the driver's kick. First disconnect the battery negative....

I think you have a 5701 and not a 5002. Follow your manual. Your ignition wire is on the remote start harness on the page to the right.

What does the alarm brain say? Maybe you have a 5002 brain...
