Default # 8 TDC Sensor

hey guys i got this CEL, just woundering where i can find the TOP DEAD CENTRE SENSOR so i can check if it is connceted!!!

More info plz. What year prelude u have? Obd2 or obd1? If it's obd1 it's inside the dizzy, and I don't think u can replace it without getting a whole new dizzy. What symptoms and problems are u having besides the cel?

2000 lude...obd2 ecu...its a type S engine JDM, shop wired into the dizzy from the crank to allow it to start, wont rev past 3 thous rpm, rough start up!!

I might be wrong but I think with obd2 ur TDC sensor should be in the engine, try searching for TDC in archived info, yeah with that cel ur car won't run very well at all until it's fixed. Bump.

its in ur distributor. u need a new distributor. base from experience had the same problem

make sure the shop that did the work did the wiring correctly, that sensor does not really go bad, its a very simple sensor, just a magnetic pickup that reads off the distributor shaft....

check the wiring from end to end....
