Default Z6 Y7 Mini me timing problems. NO START

i just put a z6 head on my y7 block and it wont start. everything is at TDC. i have a notched out y7 dizzy and z6 cam gear with a y8 timing belt. p28 ecu. does anyone have any ideas what i should look for or try to do?

i also heard that you can only get correct timing with a z6 head on a 1.5 block?? is this true??

Beware to anyone thinking of responding.

This is your FOURTH post about this same mini-me swap. I told you in your FIRST thread to try and stick to a proven guide and parts list and NOT Frankenstein parts together that were not on the list and you did anyway. Why you even started that post then is beyond me if you weren't going to take people's recommendations. Now you have problems and you won't listen to anything anyone is telling you.

For your timing issues people have told you many times to get an adjustable cam gear.

check all ur grounds make sure batt is charged and has 12.6v

you cant get it to run b/c you have a non vtec dizzy on a vtec head i had the same problem get a z 6 dizzy and it will run

I'm running a non-vtec distributor on a vtec head right now. It's fine. However, it needs some "modifications".

You can also run the car even if it's horribly out of phase. It will run horribly, but it will run nonetheless.
