95 Civic: Starter won't crank engine
Hey i have a 95 civic ex 5sp. It has a d16z6. I was driving the car daily and then one day it just doesn't start. The starter doesn't crank or anything. All i hear when i try to start it is clicking next to the fuses by the steering wheal. I already tried jump starting it and push starting it and no success with either. The lights and radio and all that stuff work too. I checked all the fuses and cleaned the battery terminals. What is going on??

Re: 95 Civic wont start
Use a meter on the starter wires to see if it is getting power while someone turns the key. If not, switch the black probe to the battery negative post and see if you then read voltage (if you do then it's a bad ground). If it does get power, remove and replace.

Re: 95 Civic wont start
remove the black wire on the starter silnoid (it a female terminal with a black hat) hook up your test light to that wire and the neg battery and should light up every time the key is moved to start. make sure the engine turns over freely cuz if it didnt start when trying to push start then the engine may be lock up or you didn't do i right
