Wouldn't deleting the cat be a bad thing for daily driven vehicles, especially ones trying to pass emissions?

It's likely that none of your turbo components are CARB approved anyways, so if you break one rule, why not break them all?

As far as I know only Greddy and Edelbrock have a CARB legal kit, there may be others but I'm not aware of them.

Also, you might want to move to Michigan, we don't have emission testing or inspections here, everyone drives their race setups on the streets around here..

Just because it's not CARB approved doesn't mean it won't pass emissions will it? How do factory tubo cars pass?

It depends. If the state you are in does visual inspections, and they notice the modifications, and the modifications don't have CARB stickers, it won't pass.

If they just use a tailpipe sniffer, then obviously the number of CARB stickers on your car is inconsequential.

It takes quite a bit of time and money to get CARB approval, that's why most turbo kits aren't street legal. Companies like Greddy are going after the street legal market, so they went through the trouble to get the certifications.
