congratulations, very impressive and prototype job

but i must say i dont think you had to do all this.... A biger supecharger or turbocharger would do the same thing...

Thanks dude.

No one makes a bigger supercharger for Dseries and it's about power everywhere, not just peak. It's capable of 400whp+ and sees full boost around 4400. To be honest, I'm into this for the cost of a turbo setup, built motor, and a $600 jrsc. Twincharging literally only cost me an extra $600.... I figured "why not"

definetely if the point is big power and power everywhere this will be the perfect mod.

later you can use the same supercharger and ad a bigger turbo so you can have 700 hp and still power at low rpm...

yea i know people with all of their limbs and digits that couldn't pull this off plus I would imagine that you had help from loyal family and friends because I imagine being down a hand made doing a lot of this build very tough and time consuming.

the fact you're driving a manual is also impressive, most of the amputees I know use autos with hand controls. although I do have a paraplegic friend who builds Volvo S60Rs and currently has a 600awhp S60R that he road races with hand controls and he's one hell of a driver despite his injury.

it just goes to show that you can never kill the human spirit

In regards to the Holset you're right, once you get that compressor in the 15-20psi range you'll definitely see an improvement. since you've gone over the map I'm sure you know that while 10psi is on the map you aren't anywhere near the "sweet spot" at 20psi+ it should be one hell of a setup.

also remember that for ever BAR of pressure you feed a motor it effectively doubles the displacement effect of the motor. so at 14.7ish psi (altitude depending) your 1.6 behaves like a 3.2 liter motor... so on and so forth. and while you might reach the air flow limits of your supercharger the fact that it basically doubles the pressure it is supplied means you'll see a dramatic torque increase, in theory, with each increase in boost pressure.

keep it up, a lot of people could learn a thing or two from you as far as commitment, determination, and passion is concerned.

Email Honda Tuning when you get the build running right, I'm sure they would love to feature it. the recently did an article on a guy who built a k swapped eg on his own with some rare birth defect where his legs were only a foot long and he has short arms and only a few fingers. I don't remember what he had but like you he built the car on his own and it was truly an inspirational article.

It's funny man, I don't get help from anyone. Usually when family needs something done on a car they call me and just drop it off. I replaced the tranny in my dads 07 C6 vette last year completely on my own. Up until last year I was a tech at Winnipeg Honda and could consistently do over 100hrs every 2 weeks, flat rate. I'll destroy my body if it means proving that I can do anything anyone else can.

I cut my hand off in a grain auger when I was 2, I'm sure some of you were curious lol. I know i was, when i put my hand in

Right now, I'm wondering if my cam timing is off. Damn a6 cam throws me for a loop, the 88's are marked like d15b2's and the 89-91's use a seperate mark. Well I can't figure which cam I have and also with the y7 block and having to use a d15b2 timing belt, does that change which marks I use? Damn.

Yeah, I ran the holset up to 15psi last night. I'm getting 30psi combined and slight wheel spin in 3rd. Injector duty cycle at top end is 50% on 800cc ev14's.
