Re: Speedfactory A/C Kit on stock internal GSR
Update: This weekend I drove @100 miles on the highway with the A/C on, in mid 80 degree weather while maintaining 75mph. It did pretty good. Just when going up steep inclines, the temp would get to just about half sometimes a little past half. The temp goes back to normal just as the incline levels out or turns into a downhill. Otherwise, around town was as reported before, no problems.
Thanks John (J-K Tuning) for posting up a clear graph.
Yes, the tune was done on 93 octane pump gas.
The cooling upgrages: Mugen fan switch, low temp thermostat and a slightly modified 14" Zirgo fan.
I will post some pics of the front bumper when I get a chance.

Here are the pics of before and after the bumper was trimmed. The first pic is from before the trim, the other 3 are after the trim.

Update: The motor has been doing wonderfully since the tune. I have driven the car just about every other day and hit full boost at least once a day, just to be sure that everything is still in good working order(LOL).
The next move is to get some test and tune time in at the track. I will post once some numbers after track time.

First, congrats on the good hp#'s. Nothing beats a good combination of parts and a good tune. I'm looking forward to going for a test drive soon. Also, I'm anxious to see the track time/mph. Keep up the good work

Nice numbers. I also had some over heating issues when i first did my turbo setup. What i ended up doing was getting a tri core half sized radiator. 13" spal fan that i made sure to tie in a relay to draw power right from the battery. Lava rock wrap for the mani and dp. I had the regular heat wrap stuff before and the lava rock wrap seems to be better to me. Lastly was a turbo blanket. Since then not one issue, I live in new mexico its always hot as hell here and i dd my teg.
