Never personally had a Mustang yet but always been interested in them and plan on owning one someday. I had a friend that I used to be stationed with. He made over 600whp on his stock block and crank for awhile. Not sure of engine displacement but Im thinking it was a 347ci. Anyways while retuning on the dyno his crank decided to break finally and it destroyed everything in its path. The engine came out of the car in about 4 chunks. Only thing left any good was the throttle body I believe. Currently or the last setup he had was a 331ci with aftermarket block and crank made around 1000whp or more on 18psi through his 100mm that he was using, going through a Powerglide. Car was good for high 7sec passes

I love turbod stangs Theres one thats always at the local 1/8th that runs consistant 5.2-5.4's@140-144(fastest of 5.01@147). That thing is an absolute MONSTER! The guy who tunes it also tunes my friends eg sedan...he told us that the stang makes 20psi in the line and it gradually ramps to 40ish. Hes making a **** hair over 1000hp on a 101mm turbo i believe. Oh yea...its also registered and insured to drive on the street

BTW-That holden is SICK!!! It looks like an Del Sol with Monaro fenders and an MP5 front end

I've seen several non-texmex low nickel production 302 blocks in the mid 600's. The blocks can handle it if prepped right, just dont shoot gobs of nitrous at the same time. If I remember correctly that's what that one guy was doing exactly in those famous pics of his block split completely in half.</TD></TR></TABLE>

come on now...the aussie vic jr's aren't that bad...a quick once over and they're up to par for 700whp boosted...

and..i've personally cracked 2 blocks down the middle...1 7500rpm 400whp n/a block and 1 583whp t-trim block

probably.

the motorsport 303 cams are unbelievably outdated. the only one that makes a decent boost cam is the F cam.

and those 185's are the worst budget heads you can get imo

but hey, at least they arent the stock e7 heads

not familiar with aussie vic jr's. guess there's a company making replica edelbrock heads down there?? got a link to them for specs??

And I'm definitely not saying you cant crack a block, trust me I know, I've done it a few times myself but that is mainly from extenuating circumstances. My brother has been running around town in his 91 vert with a twin .60 setup hitting 630hp for the past 2 years....while my single .70 setup that I had in the svo a little while before I went back 2.3t blew up at only 480hp after two weeks (balancer decided to unwrap at 6k )

the heads are like...pro top line or some ****...i can't remember.

but...yeah, 185's blow sack. vic jr or vic sr or even the rousch 200 (used to be vic sr till they bought the cast) are better than 185's......

and yeah, i mentioned how much the e-cam sucked earlier serioulsy, a tfs1 or an f-cam would even be better
