Help on Turbo Build
Hey guys im going to start a turbo build very soon. I am going to use it as a daily driver. I am looking for about 300whp maybe a little less.
My question is what do i have to do to the block to make it the strongest, just to be on the safe side. I have a JDM B18c ( GSR-R). But as of now i am going to be driving a Single Cam. I was gona redo the whole block. The head already has springs and retainers and Skunk2 Tuner 2 Cams.
I was going to put in:
Aftermarket Pistons IDK whick brand (10:1 COMP)
Eagle Rods
Bearings
Piston Rings
.50 or .60 Trim turbo? someone shed some light on this
AND.....
What else for the block so i dont blow anything up.

Re: Help on Turbo Build
300 whp is completely possible on a stock B series block. With new internals you should be more than safe at that range assuming a good tune.
The size of the turbo will depend on where you want spool and what your maximum power goals are. CFM are more important than trim.
