Well i am wanting to install some electroincs in my EF such as monitering units. im looking for something that will moniter my speed and rpm's. as well as other readings as well. so i guess im looking for a rev speed meter is what you could say. but there are so many on the market...i dont know which to pick. and i would like the speed to read in MPH. also, i would like to know of anyother units as well besides rev speed meters and air/fuel controllers.

Are you missing the instrument cluster, speedo & tach, that came in your car? There really is no need to have two of each in a car. Unless your trying for falva flave status and mount a bunch of over sized gauges to your dash or A pillar. As for the MPH any gauge bought for a USDM car should be in MPH.

Other gauges you could mount would be;
Water temp
Oil temp
Oil pressure
Volt meter
Boost gauge
Narrow Band O2 gauge - monitors absolutely nothing. It's a useless light show
Wide band O2 gauge - requires a wide band O2 sensor and associated controller.
EGT guage - requires exhaust gas temperature thermal coupler and associated equipment.

Or you could go extreme baller and install a Motec MDD, SDL or ADL2. The ADL2 has got all the bells and whistles you would ever want in a neat little package.

well i was looking for something along the lines as a apexi rev speed meter. because none of the gauges on my cluster work but the temp. so im looking for a unit such as that. and from what i have researched it gives additional readings. i will admit i do want the inside of my car to look bad *** with digital meters like a rev speed meter. but as gauges everything will be just normal gauges. so what should i buy? what company will provide me with what im looking for? like i said im looking for something that will give me a digital reading of rpms and speed?

As for all your datalogging stuff, it depends how cheap you want to keep things, do you have a budget in mnid? Plan on tuning the car after your b18a1 turbo swap? I hope so.

where can i find that cluster swap? i already have someone that is a professional car tech that is a honda only expert. he is going to tune it for me. price really isnt a worry for me on the electronics.

Ebay or if price isn't a worry go buy all the parts from a Honda dealership. You may get lucky and they may sell you a complete S2K cluster. But they only list parts for them because no to many people would want to replace the entire thing with a dealer price tag of approx $1000 brand new.
