Default wideband

okay, this may be a stupid question, but can you hook up a autometer a/f guage to a wideband bosch sensor? would this make the readings a lot more accurate? if its not possible, then is an egt guage a lot more accurate than a a/f guage?

No you cannot, you need a wideband controller to drive the sensor etc.,

An Egt gauge is not in the same line as a Air Fuel gauge, that's why its called Exhaust Gas Temp.

but the egt guage can give you a idea of whether you are running rich or lean based on the temperatures of the gases, right? so are egt guages accurate as far as those readings go?

An EGT gauge is a better monitoring tool then the narrowband autometer AF gauge. Im already have a Wideband o2 and Im getting an EGT as well!
