Roller rockers setup and cams?
Dear H-T users,
I am looking for roller rockers setup and custom cams for my B series engine.
This is the setup i am going to run this year:
-87mm turbine wheel.
-83 x 89 engine.
-high flowing gsr head.
-5.5 liter plenum intake.
Looking for power band to range in 7k to 11k rpm.
Could any one please direct me to whom who can help?
Any help will be highly appreciated.

miller uses web pads, just like the rest of us. Not roller.
Yes, Alex (Sheepy) is a good point of contact. He knows a thing or two and has been in the game for years.
Most of the fastest cars out there are on web hardware.

87mm turbine wheel huh? Where's that coming from? Web pros or Skunk pro 1's will work perfectly. Depends on your budget. Both will work well, I have no experience with the Ferrea so I can't comment.

My understanding of the real difference between the two is what you can use for spring pressure and having one pressure point vs. two. There are pros and cons to both.

Re: Roller rockers setup and cams?
yah i heard this, but still no clear information regarding this topics.
my friend has Joe Demaree old Hot rod civic, it has the roller setup with single lope came (not suer ferrea or crane cams) and its runs awesome (constant 8.3 / 8.4 sec runs) with a best 3 gears runs and 8.8 sec.

You understand that the "80" in "7280" stands for 80mm right?

i was wondering if the ferreas can be used on a street car..or are the spring pressures too high for anything but a race motor...

Re: Roller rockers setup and cams?
Either setup works. As far as hearing the "bad" end of it , theres usually a lot more involved then just the cams. So whatever road you do decide to go down, make sure the cylinder head is setup correctly for the camshaft and follower you will be running
