need help with aftermarket intake manifold idol problems
i just tookoff my gsr intake manifold and replaced it with a sheetmetal one. eveything seemed to bolt up fine and i double checked everything and when i cranked it up it made a whining sound???? and it would idol up and down from 1k to 4k????

you have an air leak....
make sure nothing got caught between the mating surfaces....use some high temp silicone on both sides of your manifold/TB gasket when reinstalling and you should be fine if thats where the leak is coming from...
also make sure all your unused vac. ports are capped and ur iacv is on securely

nah i dont think so... its def a vacuum leak. theres no way it would do that without a tune. Im thinking the ecu can deal with a 10hp power increase...
