Transmission Not fully Disengaging
Started my car finally it was timing... stupid me. Excited to drive it. Pressed the clutch down and tried putting it into first it didnt work for all the gears. Decided to adjust the clutch master bolt. No go, replaced slave since it was leaking anyways still didnt work. Put it in first while it was off and when it was starting it was lunging meaning the clutch wasnt fully disengaging. Going to start tearing down the tranny tomorrow. Any suggestions on what to look at?
It goes into gears when the car is off or when there is no pressure on the wheels lifted it up and started the car. Was able to press on the clutch and put it in first but it was hard.
Act pressure plate reused, Prelude clutch disc, and Stock Flywheel. New Throwout and New pilot.
LS tranny.

Re: Transmission Not fully Disengaging
have someone press the clutch pedal to the floor while you check the slave piston travel. If it isn't moving much then you have a problem external to the transmission/clutch. If your slave cylinder has good travel then your problem is internal to the transmission/clutch.
