did you measure bores for out of round? did you check the valves for any leaking? what's going on is you have a cylinder reading much lower than the others

cylinder out of round, rings that aren't sealing and leaking valves are the most common causes

no, not necessarily, cheapest fix would be figuring out the problem, first... Then spending the money to fix it. It could be head/valve related and not block

did you check your piston ring end gap? If you just replaced the rings 50 miles ago then you must have missed something to say the least.

edit: what was the problem before replacing the rings?

pull out your spark plug with the low compression and see if there is oil on the bottom of it.if not, you might be in luck and just need to do a valve adjustment.

Ok guys i started this topic in order to get to the bottom of my problem, loud knocking cuz didnt want to take the engine apart. Well took the engine apart and guess what, a spun rod bearing. I was actually parting out the car but now i might get it running and sale it for cheap. So my question is what kind of rod bearing should i get if im using b20 crank and ls rods? Thx
