How to reset maintenance required light? Ive unplugged the battery, I tried my obd2 code reader and hit clear codes. It still hasnt gone away. On my integra there was a button under the dash, the EK's have it in the guage cluster. My eg well just pull the fuse. Now how do I do it to an accord? Thanks guys...

 

what year car??

pre 98 you stick the end of your key into a little slot next to the odomoter.

98+ you hold the odometer button, turn the car on (but don't start it), hold until light goes out.

if you have owners manual i suggest you read it.

 

i swear... someone makes a thread about this every friggin day. is it that hard to search????

the button that you use for (98+ Accords) is the mileage reset button. Just have to hold the button in, while key is on Ignition (II)... hold button as somebody above said till light goes out
