maintenance required light reset.
where is the reset for the "maintenance required" light on a 98 accord lx? it's also throwing a code 45 on the check engine light. any idea? thanks in advance.

"system to lean or to rich" has to do with anything that monitors fuel......as for the maintenance light....i know on the integras there is a box under that dash with a button that you hold down.....otherwise you need the scan tool to get rid of it.
To reset the maintenance required light...
Put your key in the ignition (but don't turn it). Push in the trip mileage reset button and hold it in. Turn the key to the "on" position, but don't start the car. Hold in the reset button for 10 or 15 seconds, and it will be reset. It'll go off again in 6,000 miles, I believe, staying on constantly after 7,500 miles.
This is also stated in your owner's manual, if you have it.
