new to Honda accords, need info
I recently bought a 91 Honda Accord EX-R 4-spd auto 178,000 kms and there is a few things that I am wondering about since I don't have a manual.
The "maintenance required" light below the rpm gauge has been turning over from green (last week) to red (just today) and I am curious about what causes this to turn to red, for instance is it based on the mileage or does it actually monitor the vehicle?
Next, the "brake lamp" light is always lit on the dash board (the indicator just below the car diagram showing open doors etc...) and does this mean that it is working or does it mean that the brake light is actually on all the time?
thanks in advance

Stick your key in the slot to reset the maint thingy.....it monitors mileage for and will turn red. And as far as the brake lamp light, check all your brake lights, it means one or more are burnt out. Make sure and double check dual filaments because it will throw that off too

No, the thread starter is talking about the "Brake Lamp" light, not just the "Brake" light.
2 different lights:
The "Brake Lamp" light comes on when a bulb is burned out.
The "brake" light comes on when the e-brake is on, or you're low on brake fluid.
