Hi,
my friend's jdm itr 98 spec has the abs cel light on and flashes 31.
Can somebody tell me what is the soloneid?

31 = FR (solenoid short to body ground/short to wire)


I just checked my ABS code and it is 16 = RR wheel sensor (electrical noise/intermittent interuption).
I guess I need to clean the brake dust off of the sensor again.

check that the ABS harness is grounded, ie, attached to the chassis near the ABS pump(directly in front if I remember off hand, under the airbox?)..

did you check that?

 

yes.. i fixed it at last!!

guess what... the main abs wire that is screwed with the positive terminal was loose!!!
