Stock sleeves? I don't think the block guard is really necessary. Some people use them, some people don't. With the AEM EMS you should be fine without a block guard. I'd save the money for dyno time. Need more info than just 7-10psi, what size turbo are you going to use? And what Head gasket are you talking about?

yep stock sleeve too. head gasket i don't know just any brand to lower the compression down. turbo size is any of the precision t3/t4 line. sc34, sc44, sc52? any size suggestion? i will have RC injectors also, around 600 cc maybe.

My tuner talked me out of a head gasket, why take the motor apart while it still works.

Planning on 8 PSI on my stock motor ITR... will be done in a couple of weeks!

Good luck anyway. What are your HP goals? I'm thinking 250-275 for mine. Will hopefully keep track reliability with an oil cooler and fluidyne radiator.

edit:
Oh, and I'm getting the Greddy kit with an intercooler and Emanage, profec B.. I will probably start with the 310 CC injectors that the kit comes with. :-o

my HP goal for this setup is around 275. thermal 3in or custom 3in with apexi N1. well i don't think is that bad to change out the head gasket. you don't need to take the hole motor apart just the head, not to bad. just to be on the safe side it's worth it i think.

And what does the AEM EMS and a Block Guard have to do with each other? I say go Hondata for tuning and if you don't plan on running more than 15 psi, don't bother with the block gaurd.

if you plan on running 7 psi daily you dont need the headgasket at all. I am running 7.5 psi and its perfect, you get great spool times (pending on how large the turbo is) and crazy top end.
