if i were to run a vortech SC (turbo on a belt) and pully it to make about 15psi @ idle...then a 15psi wastegate and a good pair of bov's to eliminate surge. one monsterous intercooler (off ebay)...my d16z6 would pull a torque curve like you wouldnt believe! or did i miss something?
vortech superchargers have effiency like turbo compressor maps and no lag right...wheres the down side?

what do the fastest hondas run? centrifugal superchargers build boost based on rpm so if i'm not mistaken you only hit full boost at redline.
I have no idea what you are talking about wastegates for either. the equlivant for a supercharger would be a variable transmission or centrifugal clutch to control the RPMs which are directly related to boost level
. 2 bovs
lag is THE gayest argument against turbos btw. it is not an issue in a good setup.
