Default High Idle (CEL code #4)

Started up car and now it has high idle. Checked Ecu and I am getting code #4 which is for the crank sensor, i check the resistance and got a little over 350 ohms. Now could a misaligned timming belt cause this or is there anything else. I am going to try to do my timming belt and see what happens but I was wondering if there could be anything else.

I pretty sure its the belt off a little bit but was wondering if anyone else came across this problem ever...

does the car completely die or does it just go to a very low idle and then hop back up to like 2 grand??

No, but i did lower my idle with the screw on the throttle body. So, if it were in the same position i think it might hold and run for a little bit more...

a friend of mine had what seems to be the same problem with his car
he hada 94 4 door gsr and when it started to happen we looked at it and came to the coomclusion that it might have been his TPS check that and also that all ur vaccuum hoses are properly fitted
BTW he got a new throttle body with all the sensons included and it took care of the problem
