i got a major prob!! help please! oil pressure prob
my car starts and everything. i got a custom setup. t3 off a svo. tial, custom pipes and dp. and everything. the car starts but it idles like crap and we got it down to the oil pressure. the gauge barely climbs. its not even at 10. its a autometer gauge. everything is tapped right. i got a 1/8" male fitting bout 1 1/2" long into the block. a "T" fitting and in the first T i got the oil feed and another 1/8 male adapter to another "T". on the 2nd T i got the stock oil press and the autometer press tapped in. we think it may be the oil feed line. it is barely enough and i have it tapped and wrapped around the oilpan back up the front of the motor into the turbo, its a little tight and making a sharp turn right before it gets to the turbo. you guys gotta help me out here...i'm going nuts....its been 4 days
do not run the car w/ low oil pressure, trust you will roast your bearings if you havent done damage already, more than likely your oil pump went south. thats what happened to me and i roasted my bearings. it wasnt cheap, trust me.
i wish i had an oil psi like yourself to catch it in time. btw can you elaborate on this

i was just reading some post and they said that my idle pressure should be around 5-10psi? that is what mine is at. so is it normal? what else would cause my car to idle like crap and die? my turbo could be bad too....its off a older ford
it could be your gauge, auto meter isnt known for its high quality, btw you should have 7 psi at idle and about 50 psi by 3000 rpms.

i'm beggining to think that my car won't idle because of the fuel pump. i got a airtex inbetween my fuel filter and rail. is that where its suppose to go? i have it hooked up to my stock pump relay. comon guys. help me out....
