All N/A 13 Second Owners
What have you done to the Prelude to make it a 13 second car?
When I had mine, my best time was 14.9 with an AEM CAI, Koni Yellow Shocks, Skunk2 Coil Overs.
Thanks in advance for the help.
Edit: 13 second 5th Gen.

I was just asking what bolt-ons would you need, or what you have to do, N/A wise to get into 13s...
I wasn't expecting 13s with just a CAI lol

Just checked the entire thread, not one 13 second N/A 5th Gen Prelude...
Also, I did pretty well compared to every other 5th gen in there.
14.9@94 MPH with just an AEM CAI, Koni Yellow Shocks & Skunk 2 Coil Overs

It would probably cost way more than a turbo or supercharger so what's the point. That engine, like most honda vtechs, is already pretty tuned NA from the factory.

A proper suspension definitely helps. It is often overlooked though.

I should have stated before, I was looking for a 13 second 5th Gen.

Good luck, though its tough to predict what your car is gonna run before its running.
Gearing is another thing often overlooked.

I just have a real tough time believeing 13sec H22's with i/h/e. 175whp just doesn't seem like enough to do it. There are freaks though.
I would say i/h/e and Cams with some Drag Radials will do the trick with practice.
Doing i/h/e on an H22 and expecting 13's is just a shot in the dark.

dont know about the 5th gen....
but on my 4th...... the trick was weight reduction and tires.........
i have the boltons and then some.... jdm h22, partial tune, and an h23 tranny........
Rip out everything you can from the car and that helps..... i ripped PS, AC, ABS, Interir, Seats, ect......
I dont know what it is about 5th gens that slow them down, combo of weight and areodynamics i guess....
