Picture above is how the cams look..this is an engine being reassembled,
as it states in the helms, they are both suppose to face UP, but the cams dont lock with the head like it doesnt sit right..so this is the way it sits as it "sits" right. Is this right? or am i able to turn this with a wrench?

The cam caps at the right side of the engine, JUST before the cam gears have a hole in each cam cap. You can put in a matching size allen key into each of the holes and it will hold your cam gears/shaft in the correct position for the timing to be set

The cam caps at the right side of the engine, JUST before the cam gears have a hole in each cam cap. You can put in a matching size allen key into each of the holes and it will hold your cam gears/shaft in the correct position for the timing to be set
Both cam gears need to be in the "up" position and there are marks "slits" 90 degress from each side of the up arrow on the cam gear teeth. The slits need to be lined up with each other and the crank at TDC (white mark lined up with timing mark on timing cover.)
