I bought one once. It looked OK. I spun the compressor wheel, and ill tell you, it was twice as hard to spin as the one i pulled off a 300zx turbo that had been sitting in a junkard for 5 years. No shaft play, but no shaft spin either. I sold it for pretty cheap and got a real turbo(sc61) then sold that and got a REAL REAL turbo(GT35R) then sold that and got a motor that actually started out good(2JZ), swap in progress right now. Into an AE86, not an EG, lol. 2JZ into an EG, that would be intense.

just search around on here for ssautochrome or xs power. i see at least a few threads every week about them. you will see quickly that you should stay away from them. their turbos and manifolds are junk, i know a few people using their wastegates but thats about it. i know its temping but dont waste your money on those cheap ebay turbos.

i know some people might be using their products with success but it just seems like their is a much higher rate of failure than success. you get what you pay for in this case.

My friend ran one on his ls for like 3K. I bought it off of him and put under a K on it I think. No smoke, no leaks, same shaft play as a garrett T3/T04E 50 trim I have with ~ the same miles.. If I can't sell it I will probably rock it on my B16 and see what kind of numbers I can put down with it.
