Default SS fuel line questions

I am in the process of upgrading to SS fuel lines and have a question for people that have done this.

Heres the plan... -8an line from the stock fuel filter to STR fuel rail. from STR rail I will use -6an line to connect to SARD fuel pressure regulator. from regulator to return -6an.

Heres the question... what is the oulet size of the OEM fuel filter?

car is 00 civic 2dr d16y8

AN 8 is probably overkill if you are still using the stock filter. AN 6 would probably be a better choice. The outlet size is 12mm x 1.25mm on the fitting, and I have a banjo fitting specifically designed for that spot to go to an AN 6 hose.

I was kinda thinking that too. I still may do 6an, but the STR fuel rail accepts 8an in so thats why I was going to do that. we'll see...
