Default What to do with IAT sensor?

I have a 92 Sihatch with a 2000 USDM B16A...my question is what should I do with the IAT sensor? The previous owner switched to OBD1...and it currently has hondata installed. there is a spot for it on the intake...but i was under the assumption it isnt need for obd1...any input?
