Default D15B Swapped now sucks bad. Help

Hello everyone. I hope somebody can help. 92 Civic CX. I initially had the stock 8 valve cx motor (d15b8 I think) and blew head gasket, so, I swapped it out with a 16 valve DX motor (d15b7 ?). I bought one of those Japanese used motors. I reused all my cx parts for the swap. When it started up, it seemed to idle ok, but, it bogs out when I give it gas. So, I looked at some pictures and noticed that the intake was bigger for the 16 valve, so, I got a bigger intake from the junk yard and now it is even worse. Now it barely even keeps an idle. Does anybody know if I was supposed to swich out ECU's or have any clues as to what I did wrong? Any help would be beneficial. I also live in California so I think my ECU has smog equiped stuff. Help, I'm stuck carpooling with my wife.

Good to know. I check firing sequence when I get home. I'm actually "working" right now.

that's quite an interesting name you got there
Anyhow, with the INTAKE Mani swap you may have vaccuum leak somewhere check with a bottle of carb cleaner to see if the engine responds any where you spray it around the mani
check all grounds

PS Carpooling with the wifey can't be all that bad

I did switch connectors, tps/iac last night and it allowed me for a brief moment to rev my engine a little higher initially then only to end up farting out. I don't know what your talking about when you say cels. I also did not get a chance to recheck firing order tonight seeing as family(inlaw) drama prevailed. That 5th cylinder is super hot youngun(j/k, I knew what you were gettin at).

firing order is correct. I was hoping is was something like that but no luck. Damn. Also roadhead would be great but I don't think the kids are into it.

I went and spent the cash on dx ecu. It did make any difference whatsoever. I'm about ready to set the ****** thing on fire.

check all your grounds and vacuum hoses. I had simular problem. I changed every thing, plugs, fuel filter etc.... and it turned out it was just a loose ground strap. I was a little peaved.

OK, I'll check again. I'll spray carb cleaner all over the damn thing. Hopefully it'll catch fire.

Roadhead from Kids I know annoying little module that loves to break on hondas. Try taking out your Ignition Control Module (ICM) and have it tested at autozone. My b16a used to miss fire because of that POS module.
