From what I understand the Spoon 16X7 wheel only comes in a +42mm offset.

From what I recall on Saga's car, they will clear with no spacers but this is on a Spoon caliper....

I assume you need to run at least a 10mm to clear Rotora brakes.

this is a rotora caliper.

same as mine.

there is rotora printed on and its dark blue like rotora hasm not light blue like spoon uses.

then another:

on spoon website there are 2 wheels:
offset 45
offset 35

and nothin +42
where did you get your infos from? hit that guy with a hammer @ his head :-)

You can try hub-centric wheel spacers.. How close is it?

hmm i want to do that.
but i have to know which offset i have to come to with the spacers.

thinking that offset + 35 will fit.
but if + 38 or + 40 will also fit i would like to get this offset.

as much offset as possible i want.

so i need info from the guy that owns this py itr on the pics. he has rotora big brake and 7 x 16 rims....

Keep in mind that just because one wheel clears a certain brake setup with a certain offset (e.g., the SW388's in the photo) doesn't necessarily mean that a different wheel with the same offset will clear the same brakes. If I recall correctly, the stock JDM ITR wheels don't offer a tremendous amount of clearance for brakes in the first place.

^^ I agree.

Here's a hint to find what you need:
1) Hit up your local hardware store and buy a bunch of M12 washers.
2) Start stacking washers on the wheels studs and try fitting your wheels.
3) Once you find the appropiate number of washers so your wheel clears, measure the stack height of the washers and match up to the next thickest size of wheel spacer available.
4) Order the wheel spacer and be done with it.

1 idea.

did it that way. need 11 mm

ordered 15 mm. so it shall fit nice.

but i ll get 15 for every wheel also rear. if not i ll look crappy. if front is 30 mm wider than rear arch....

I sincerely hope you aren't grouping me in the first category. Looking back, there wasn't a single "stupid" reply in this thread. Perhaps (hopefully) I'm just misinterpreting this last post...
