Default LSVTEC wiring harness does not fit injectors?

Here's a part of the setup for my LSVTEC:

-OBD-1 GSR wiring harness
-JDM 98 ITR injectors

For some reason, the fuel injector plugs won't fit the itr injectors because the injectors have grooves on the side that gets in the way. Am I using the wrong combinations of obd-2 injectors and obd-1 wiring harness or something? I've heard most D and B series injectors are similar. Any ideas? Thanks.

try some d series injectors or something and see if they are made the same maybe it will make a difference. maybe u were sent the wrong injectors that would suck but good luck anyways.

don't try anything until you know what the problem is!!!

the problem is you have an OBD1 wireharness with OBD2 injectors.....get some OBD1 injectors and you'll be fine....

Here is a pic of one of the injectors. I hope this will give an idea of which injectors they are.

JDM 98 ITR injectors anyone?

So that means my injectors are obd-2 and that they won't work with my obd-1 gsr wire harness? Oh boy.

If you have access to an obd2 wiring harness, you can simply put the obd2 injector clips on your obd1 harness.

nope...you can either snag the OBD-2 injector clips off of a scrap wiring harness and SOLDER them onto your OBD1 harness...or get different injectors

Thanks for all the replies guys. It helped me alot. I'm thinking of shaving the grooves on the injectors to fit my obd-1 wiring harness (an alternate way), since that's the only thing that's blocking.

Anybody ever done this, or think it'll work?
