Ok ok! Man.. that took a lot of finessing. I have a sub/amp/battery/strut bar/factory jack+tools.. don’t have a spare sadly but you’ll see why. I can fit a giant luggage back there. One more thing to finish it off, new OEM carpet and fiber board.

I cut the “feet” off of this guy so it would clear the strut bar. You will see the original design below. Also- skunk2 strut bar installed.

I bought a new ITR shift knob just before they were discontinued, I had the red stiching removed and had it redone with black- so as to match the original EM1 shift knob (that has been long discontinued). I also bought the matching shift boot which lets the knob click in.

RSX is daily, right is friends car. I don’t recall If I told you Before, I bought the EM1 in the pic so I could come up on the leather seats, then I worked my friend into the shell. He had a beat down em1 before.

Not my car, this is the friends car from above. We went for a super cruise, to San Fran. He drove from Spokane to central Oregon, and then we drove to San Fran, stayed at a hotel-went to a taco truck and then drove home. In 48 hours I drove like 30 of em.

I forgot to mention, as you can see I gave my twin disc tons of hot spots. I gave it like 20LBS I’d boost after only 80 miles on the build. Hmmm.. I’m not so worried about engine break in, but next time maybe I’ll work the clutch a little more lol.

8. Drop trans and replace ISB, file IS so it’ll fit in ISB again.
9. Run it, forgot one ball bearing.. can’t shift. Drop trans, remove BB, reinstall clutch/trans.

I thought I would put it all together and it would be done, but project mode is always prolonged.

Welp.. my friends wife backed into my car. I parked behind her where no one usually does. This is life and we must push forward. I soon after sourced an OEM EBP fender.

At this car meet I was between step 8 and 9 lol, I backed into the space with the starter. No one noticed I had no clutch pedal ha, there were plenty of high dollar cars but everyone wanted to see mine. ❤️

From this picture, I’m going to summarize a series of failures.
1. Broke pass. Side axle but didn’t realize,
2. dropped and opened trans to find nothing wrong,
3. Friend was guiding me/could not get trans cases to click together tapped on input shaft to see if that would help.
4. Slightly mushroomed input shaft tip/got case together lol
5. Input shaft pressed on pilot bearing instead of seating inside. Replace axle.
6. I ran it because of hardship, needed car to drive.

These things took soooo much time. There is a white halo ring (not shown in this pic) that is also a blinker.
