very nice but scracthed up a little bit of my painted steelies but dont care since they are winter wheels

i asked when they called me, they said NO WAY, they made even on most sets and lost money on others. there's no chance they would do this again.

Well, it sure is nice of them to continue to make the $100 offer available to you.

I'll assume you're looking for the same thing - a good "bang for the buck", "budget performance" summer tire in 205/55-15.

If I were shopping at the Tire Rack, my top two recommendations would be the Fuzion ZRi or the Dunlop Direzza DZ101, both of which come in that size for about the same price as the SPT. I like the SPT better, but both of these are still pretty good. I don't see either one in that size on the Discount Tire website, but they're worth asking for.

Otherwise, I see three other choices on their website in that size. One is the BFGoodrich g-Force Sport, which is about the same price ($87) but I really don't like nearly as much as the SPT, but might be worth a shot; the Yokohama S.drive which is their new tire that I don't know a whole lot about (haven't tried) but is probably worth trying ($100); and the BFGoodrich g-Force T/A KDW ($116) which is very good, comparable to the SPT, but whose downside is the higher price.
