it helps eliminate under steer .... my last setup was mis-matched wheels to get a staggred offset and width setup... this time around id like something matching

No, it won't. A half inch difference in wheel width won't do anything, especially not for street use. All it will do is prevent you from being able to rotate your tires. But hey, it's your car, if you want to do something that won't do anything for you, go ahead...
If you want to reduce understeer, the easiest way to do it is to play around with your tire pressures. You can also upgrade to stickier tires. However, no matter what you do, some understeer is going to be inevitable with FWD cars.
What kind of car is this for? (year, model, version)

1995 civic cx hatchback
but it has
gsr complete front suspension LCA's subframe 24mm sway bar
rear 22mm bar ...m-factory camber and toe kits... PCI trailing bearings
PIC select coilovers 13kfront 11k rear
its pretty much a integra suspension EG's have the same wheel base
but back to staggered wheels, trust me the setup makes a noticeable difference ... so noticeable that i dont want to go back to standard fitment
have you tested anything like this first hand? or are you being theoretical?

I've driven and ridden in cars with staggered wheel fitments and they don't give any significant improvement in handling. But hey, it's your car...

You really cant make that bold of a statment because the winning time attack car is running staggerd rims
And wiped the floor with everyone
Its running very wide staggerd rim sizes

Well unless your into tire streching and slammed so hard in the ground you cv joints and eating up. Why not mod your car to improve it.
I dont care for the honda-tech sarcasim but apperantly everyone in that thread is using it on both.
Are you going to make fun of my post count next?
Running wider tires in the front helps the car rotate also
But nothings set in stone as sus tuning is some what black magic if you dont know what your doing.

Instead of playing around with the wheel width's you should play with tire widths, that is what the time attack guys are doing. Changing tire width will skew the slip angles and change the cars behaviour (if done right, hopefully reduce understeer).
