Default Wheel offset

What's up, I have a 97 Accord and just lowered it and have horrible fitment and was looking into getting new wheels. I have 17s right now and would like to keep either 17s or go up to 18s. I was looking into getting 8-9" wide wheel and want the wheels to fit flush and not poke, I would want it to be close enough to the fender that after rolling it wont rub but without rolling it would, what offset wheels would I need?

Here's a whole bunch of wheels in various specs I've had over the past coupe years. Some a little more aggressive than others. Take a look and let me know what you like. As far as recommendations, I'd definitely look into 17x8 with a +25 to 35 offset, and if you want 17x9s, I'd say somewhere +35 to +40. My 17x9 +35 with 245/40s is my favorite fitment and I had 0 rubbing with just the fenders rolled.

Thanks man definitely appreciate the photos with the captions, this was alot of help and I think the 17x9 +35 with 245/40s is my favorite too, also just wondering, what are you lowered on and any suspension mods?

I'm currently running Koni Yellows paired with Ground Control coilover sleeves, and FFC extended top hats. I also have a full Tanabe Sustec sway bar set, as well as a good amount of other suspension/chassis upgrades for better handling.

Came across this older thread and would like to know when running 17x8.5 did your tires rub? What size tires ? I only have coil overs and recently got a set of work wheels xd9 17x8.5 +32 which I’m looking for a tires at the moment. My fenders are rolled. I daily the car any input would help

What’s your feed back on tire setup for 17x8.5 and if they rubbed with fenders being rolled
