that shelf was $1100 painted and delivered. customer provided the wheels.
that is a nice change from the day to day with you.

hot damn! thats a nice chunk a change for what appears to be cake work (at least as far as fabrication goes). what industries are you selling these to? (not to get all up in your business, just curious. lol.)
it is for a customer who sells leak testing equipment. they specialize in that field and build their own units in-house. mostly all plc/electronic type stuff i know nothing about. i actually worked for them part time before starting my own shop troubleshooting their equipment onsite for their customers. anyway, they don't have a shop of their own, only minor power tools etc. they outsource all their tooling/fabrication needs and i'm at the top of the list because of proximity, convenience, quick turnaround, an already established relationship etc. the work is sporadic, but when i do get it, it pays decent. they charge upwards of $100k for their leak test stands once they are assembled and ready to go off to a customer.
this is going on a local drift car i am sponsoring this year. his current setup is an ebay manifold that is starting to crack, so i made a jig to replace the manifold but would allow him to run all the other components. we will slowly upgrade the rest of the kit as well.

yes, it is going in a 240 that won the local drift series last year: www.cscs.ca theo drives a modest car but is consistent.
