you bumped this thread after 25 minutes??? save yourself time and $ and just buy a rhd car if you want one so badly. building it is a waste of a perfectly good left hand drive car.

I WORK AT A SALVAGE YARD UP HERE IN NJ. THIS 240 HAS BEEN CONVERTED TO RHD. THE KID WRECKED IT AND DIED. THE REASON THE CAR DID NOT HOLD UP IN THE WRECK. THE FIREWALL PEELED BACK. SEPERATED FROM THE FRAME RAIL.

^ caps makes every thing true.

its safe if you have a reputable auto body shop do it. Some one that knows structure, where to cut, etc etc etc

not hard at all, just swap firewalls and use the vin off your original dash and position it at the same oem spot but on the rhd dash. you need to do some more searching. theres like 2 VERY helpful threads somewhere on ht on rhd firewall swaps. gl

If you are going to do the work yourself, and you know what you are doing, then whatever, go and do it. But if you are paying people to do it... is going to cost you $ for nothing, and secondly, people could do a shitty job... is not that is unsafe... if you put down more spot welds than factory did, i don't see how this can be unsafe...

is just stupid to fork out $ just to drive the other side... but hey, is your car and your money. do it if you must.
