RHD conversion cost
I got my rhd clip from rickys auto center @ raceup.com for $400(96 type r clip mint ) and it was $300 to ship it. Then my friend is doing a clean job on the conversion for $1000 on my 99 integra gsr it will be done next week. If anybody wants his number i'll give it to you he located in El Paso and he does a good job
So the total for my Rhd was about total $1800

many reasons. bling factor, comfort? maybe some people feel more natural sitting on the right side shifting with their left hand always having their right hand on the steering wheel.
originality too? if i had the money i'd convert. i'm not a lazy ***, i'll get out of my car and walk to micky d's instead of being a gayass and getting drivethrough. as far as tollbooths are concerned, 1. IPASS, and 2. who pays anyway?

wish i could afford that, but 1800's not a bad price.. definitely woudl cut down a lot if you did the work yourself and sell your oem clip

I have always wondered the same thing. I mean if you change all of them out, or just replace all the glass with the glass from your existing teg, and then swap rear bumpers and front ends just long enough to pass nationalization, just to change it all back???? Hmm...

There this RHD conversion going to be done on a 4dr Integra. Here in southern california. I believe the shop is Robotek. I heard they are charging $1700 or maybe more. I dunno.

Yeah, I realize that whatever you do to a USDM car. You can never make it to JDM. Only if you buy the JDM car over in Japan or even EDM (Europe)

crazy mang... I have a friend who works at Robotek Motorsports. He drive a 90 DB2 4dr teg.
He did an impossible journey. He converted a regular USDM LHD 95 4dr Integra to a RHD 4dr DB8 Integra Type-R conversion... pratically the works. It's his first time doing the job. Even though the owner of the car rush him it actually came out pretty nice. He eye ball the firewall and everything seem to fits well. There is no kink in the steering or anything like that. I drove the darn thing when it was finish.
He told me only thing lag the most was missing parts and unavailable specialty tools. He bought **** load of specialty tools just to do the RHD conversion. Welder, reciphoflare maker, pipings, fittings, etc.. etc..
Get this he reused the USDM 4dr Integra interior and engine harness. It took him about 1-2 weeks just to rewired the USDM harness. He also doesn't know where to put the USDM fuse box. He wanted to use the JDM fuse box but it has missing plugs on there. Instead he made a custom place next to the steering column to place the USDM fuse box for temporary until he find a way to slap the thing into the RHD fuse box holder.
