yeah well apparently the mods think differently and all I have to say is "good luck and I hope they are happy with their 'shift ****' and 'led washer nozzle' forums"

Personally, I thought a DIY forum was a good idea but then again what do I know....

Money talks and bullshit walks. Doing It Youself makes no money for H-T so hey lets put up an LED and shift **** forum so maybe APC will think about sponsoring H-T.

I don't know exactly whats going on but it seems to me that precisionh23a can answer all of your questions.

Hello,

I have search this using the SEARCH button and found nothing really that answers my question. So I was hoping to ask a question here.

Basically, I want to find a place that sells exhaust flanges (2 bolt and 3 bolt triangle). Also, i was wondering if ALL the exhaust flanges are the same (universal) or is there a specific one for each car? My car is a 98 honda accord. How much are they aswell? And how thick are they?

Sorry to be asking questions, but I wanted to be directed where to find these..I have tried looking at keller.com and JCwhittey, and found some but I dont know if those will fit my car.

Thank you again....regards to all!

thank you...so, to my understanding, they are pretty much the same all round...cuz, I was thinking of putting a muffer, but bolting it up to the stock piping. I though if I get a 60mm flange that the bolts wont light up...but I was wrong! haha..

thanks again!

Hey welding buffs. I'm fairly new to welding and I have a question. Just purchased a wire feed mig, what type of gas do I need for basic steel/sheet metal/body work? Argon? CO2? O2? Thanks in advance.

A 75% Argon / 25% CO2 mix would be your best bet for mild steel GMAW.

Its a mix of Argon/Co2. As far as the percentage of each i am not possitive.

its a blend gas. 75% argon/25% CO2
you can use that for most things out there but you need pure argon for aluminum

Yes, establish a relationship with your local shops. They can help beginners out a lot.

Regarding the creation of a fabrication forum: a thread should be made where people "sign" their name (like they do for group buys). If enough people sign it, they have to at least acknowledge the demand for it. Who knows, maybe they'll drop one of the lesser used forums.
