anyone know if this machine will handle the stuff i will be doing:

Requires 1- Phase Power

Rated Output
70 A at 22.8 VDC(Stick), 115 VAC
100 A at 14.0 VDC(TIG), 115 VAC
100A at 24.0 VDC(Stick), 230 VAC
100A at 14.0 VDC(TIG), 230 VAC
100% Duty Cycle

Output Power Range
5 - 150 A (TIG), 115 VAC
20 - 110 A (Stick), 115 VAC
5 - 150 A (TIG), 230 VAC

What machine is this?

If 150 amps is the max output, it isn't gonna have **** for duty cycle at that amperage setting.

You should also figure out what the input amperage requirements are for that machine.

Seeing that it can run off 115 volt power, I'm guessing that it is some kind of inverter-based machine.

what do you guys use to cut the holes for the external gates? i got my plasma cutter but so far it leaves the inside of the manifold splattered the hell out with debries, i got most of it out with a sand blaster, too much power you think &gt;?

Drill press and a 1 3/4" hole saw. Maybe just cause i have yet to own a plasma cutter but it works well, and cuts really clean.

Project dc2.. Are you running any coolant in that saw yet? Does anyone know a good place to get coolant for a decent price? Everything I have found is pretty expensive. </TD></TR></TABLE>

thanks again.

1/8", what i always use, base plates warp very slighty, hell, the flange at the head warps and thats WAY WAY thick, has to be milled flat on every intake i make, havent gotten to those TB tabs yet, gonna work on the base plates, waitin for the machine shop to buy more welding gas

but 1/8" is fine no need for thicker imho
