I think everything I found was a case with four 1 gallon jugs.. they were like $80 or so.. Jet recomends lenox fluid so that is what I was looking for. Any idea how much I would need? I think my resovior is like 2 gallons about.

yes it has a pump and recirculates the fluid.

I would read the side of the bottle... Or, mix half a gallon and the rest with water.

BTW how many if you are using your band saws in the verticle mode to cut schedule 40 ?? im tryin to make a revhard style manifold but i cant get the pipe to kick out far enough to cut enough material imma have to make a jig but i just remembered i could put it in the other position, however it seems like itll cut my hand off. suggestiosn ?

Well the coolant is really lubricant and coolant.. I think car coolant is sticky.

I cut some stuff in vertical.. it works well.. it tends to grab the pipe though.. just be very carefull and go slow.

thanks guys. I'm not sure If I want to make my downpipe out of stainless or...mild and coat it. But I figured a stainless 3" exhaust would be nice.
I Have to do my intercooler piping this weekend. Any suggestions on how to make nicely beaded pipe? Could you have an exhuast shop flare the pipe...
and the move towards the end of the pipe and then crimp it back down to 2.5"? Would that work? I did a piece of wire and welded it before...but you guys prolly have a better idea

btw man nice work :D

Tinker...do you know a good place to get mandrel bends? I get my 3" 90 degree stainless bends for 15 bucks a pop. And where do you get THICK turbo manifold piping....but not like schedule 40 like I used. Like 12 gauge I guess.

*Eric*

Yes matt that is for my dohc turbo :D

Tinker, I got my elbows for that manifold from mcmasters...didn't think to look for stainless elbows! doh!

I get my 15 dollar bends from...email me to get his info or IM me. He's in Oregon and the bends are sanitary polished 304...but they are used for some reason...so some of them have a residue on the inside(I dont mind )

I know that this was probably covered already, but someone just told me to use the 75/25 mix gas for SS and AL and 100% argon for mild. Is this true or is it the other way around? The source telling me this is my dad who heard this from a well respected welder. The problem is my dad doesn't know anything about welding and gets a little dyslexic at times(guess who I inheirited it from) so now I'm confused

I think its the other way around... I was always told Pure argon for every thing but you could use 25/75 for mild steel. Im no pro though so lets see what other people have to say.

ok I just talked to the guy my dad talked to and he thought my father thought I was mig welding when I was tig welding and that is what my dad had mixed up. Believe it or not, it is easy for someone with dislexia to mix something up like this The reason why I brought all this up is because my dad had "stole" my tiny 10/10 oxy/act setup and was going to get me a tank of argon to make up for it(I still have my 40/40 oxy/act setup). Hehee so now I have 1 40cuft tank, 1 80cuft tank, and I will soon have a 20cuft tank of argon
