Re: (second edition)
Thanks for the compliments! I haven't done much recently... It's winter now and there is no point of pushing more power when I am breaking loose at 4th gear at a measly 4500RPM with winter tires

Brig Mag 5's, 15x6.5" forged wheels @ 9 lbs a piece There was a special on Honda-tech a year ago from Emotiongarage for $649 USD shipped for the entire set

I'm sure its welded just like any other intake manifold....?

.....looks like it's just bolted on/ sandwiched at the runners.
Maybe some hondabond in there as well......

There are gaskets which go between the plenum and the individual throttles Hondabond isn't necessarily what you'd use for fuel-related parts. The inside of the intake manifold always get fuel vapours hanging around + normal intake reversion, etc...

There wasn't enough room to do a raised-stack along with the larger plenum unfortunately... Plus I was really looking for consistent running cylinders instead of just flow; the ITB's already flow really well and the throttles do a great job minimizing the turbulance just before the ports. My initial plan was to custom CNC machine a set of velocity stacks with cyl #1 and 4 having a slightly wider radius than #2 and 3, but like I said, no room to do raised stacks
Instead, I did the porting/grinding to bias the cyl #1 and #4 runners by widening the radius area. My previous design (same TB inlet location but all runners were equal diameter) had issues with #2 and 3 receiving more air. The current design actually yielded very consistent airflow since my plugs all looked about the same this time

Probably because cyl # 2 and 3 is still the closest to the TB inlet and has the least restriction

I had the thought of doing that, but there was limited room. It was either the BOV or the the IACV, and it ended up being the IACV. Plus I didn't want to ruin the sleeper effect so I left the BOV near the intercooler so guys couldn't see it when I pop the hood. Usually I have a header heatshield which covers the turbo and manifold (and the fake airbox), but I took it off for picture's sake </TD></TR></TABLE>
The Blow off valve has to be on the other side of the throttle plate aywayz

Hahaha, I think you should check out my intake manifold/ITB's again --> keywords are ITB (individual throttlebodies)
Anything from the turbo all the way to the intake runners are non-vacuum/charged areas.

Re: (Tony the Tiger)
Hey Tony Man....I've been a member of H-T since 2002 and have NEVER been in this Weld/Fab section before, my first day here and your up to your usual tricks!!!!! Nothing but a constant flow of sweetness in Fab Expertise flowing from it as per usual ......It's Paul with the "Four" Honda's. Hey....How's your Fuel situation......It was a pleasure to help you out....wicked fix from the local Home Depot down there In Kitchener.....I REALLY hope you made it back to T.O. alright.....
the CRX is gone.....actually litterally "Crushed," and has been replaced by a 92 EG6/EH2 into which will be swapped the ol'B16 from the CRX, remember how fast that little package was, for a PGM-Fi B16.....? You me and Mark, my brother with the 85 CRX REALLY gotta get together with Henry sometime and hang out in the FAB shop of yours......Private message me and we'll plan something soon....
Excellent to see your still up to your old tricks.....How's Chris BTW....with the red SIR coupe.....? Haven't seen him in about 2 years.....
WICKED work as per normal MAN, I'll NEVER forget the last ride in that machine that we had that day on the 401 Westbound @ the Kitchener H-T meet!!!!!!!
Certainly NOT to jack, but here's the FIFTH addition to my Honda Family....
I'll be in contact soon Man.

Re: (1250b18c5)
Hey Paul, glad to talk to you again! Definitely give you a big for helping me out at the Kitchener meet with the fuel rail incident... I made it back home with no probs, although I did take my time cruising back at 100km/h no more no less...lol
There will definitely be plans once the weather become nice again
Nice new addition to your Honda family I am sure the new EG wouldn't be short of the CRX and bet it is pretty damn quick
