Im 100% with burns on this. What is the point of posting the price of the manifold like that. I take it as an insult when people say its to expensive. You are saying that my R@D, time, fabrication, welding, etc is not worth it. If cost was an issue he would not be looking into custom manifolds. Great pictures, keep posting up your work.

Ignorance is bliss

Lets post how much the header cost, so people that don't know any better will jump to conclusion and of course think, why so much....

If you actually knew the price of material, and the R&D that went into the thing, you would not of made that post.

Got the info from a PM....tell it to him. I personally didn't think that was unreasonable price wise. It's made of 321 in typical Burns top notch quality. I made no ill comments and now a person from Burns is gonna come out and make some type of attack on my comment, citing reasons why you don't post?

Someone asked, I answered. If it's bad info then correct it, what's the big deal.

TO THE MOTH*$%&$^ WHO DECIDED TO START NAME CALLING, WHAT GOES AROUND COMES AROUND MO$&%^CKER THATS A PROMISE.

Well i'm not sure who misinformed you but the header did not cost anywhere near that much....

What i said was in no way shape or from intended as an "attack" it was a simple observation.

So there's no need to stsrt a bunch of drama in this thread so just let it go and everyhting will be fine

You must have missed something along the way. I didnt' see any drama initiated on my part. I posted what I was told in conversation with someone on aol. The fact that it doesn't cost that much, just adds to the outstanding quality of the product. I know guys who have paid that much for custom headers on numerous occasions.

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by ManBearPig4silly &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">Now go away before I get scared of your internet threats. </TD></TR></TABLE>

Take from it what you will. I am sick of you and your f*ckin ignorant sh*t on here. Just the same as RMF and his mouth. I work for the local police, you wouldn't be so loose with your stupid mouth if you weren't all the way in NC, I can assure you. So who's the internet warrior. Keep your name calling sh*t to yourself and stick to one screenname. What, are you preparing for the day your first banning comes along?

O.P. There was no ill intention here, this was blown way out of proportion. I spoke with a guy online, who's name I am now NOT going to mention for his sake, who apparently thought that's what was spent. While steep, I certainly recognize the quality and R&D that goes into Burn's headers and products.

Why people would get mad about posting a price is beyond me to begin with. Post the price...who f***in cares. You spend your money however you want. If Burn's is embarassed of the price, well then that almost says something. Obviously this isn't the case though, so once again, what's the big goddamn deal?

Back to the point of this thread now.....a damn nicely fabricated header. I'm over it.

how well can .035" 321 stainless hold up to the abuse for header/turbo manifold applications?

035 is a little thin for turbo header unless the turbo is mounted solid to the engine with brackets

Cool, I was just curious. I'm contemplating an na set up for a miata and I had no clue what a custom header was worth. If I had the cash (and I may yet) I wouldn't hessitate. That is a work of art, and (assuming it works as good as it looks) is worth every penny.
