Header Done by Burns Stainless LLC Sr20 NA thin gage 321 SS
Here is another header we built for a customer of ours with a naturally aspirated Sr20 engine. He came to us when he thought that his current header was holding back his build as you can see it definitely was; our header is the bold line.
Lengths and diamters are proprietary along with collector sizing. Header is equal length within a 1/8" +/- Thin Gage 321 .035" Material used to reduce weight Our megaphone and reverse cone collector used to produce maximum useable powerband MEgapohne and Reverse cone exit into a 3" exhaust. Our cast Flanged o2 rings to distribute load and reduce failure in thin materials header weight 9.5 lbs http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...ZkMzF5NTQx.jpg http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...ZkMzF5NTQx.jpg http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...ZkMzF5NTQx.jpg http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...ZkMzF5NTQx.jpg http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...ZkMzF5NTQx.jpg http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...ZkMzF5NTQx.jpg http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...ZkMzF5NTQx.jpg http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...ZkMzF5NTQx.jpg http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...ZkMzF5NTQx.jpg http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...ZkMzF5NTQx.jpg and here is the beloved dyno sheet to back it all up. http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...ZkMzF5NTQx.jpg |

Kind of curious too. Just a ballpark figure would be cool. like $1k? $2k? $10k? Or is it one of those "If you have to ask..." sorta things? Dan |

Re: Header Done by Burns Stainless LLC Sr20 NA thin gage 321 SS (Jose-aka-Pedro)
so since this is the welding/fabrication forum...
I'm curious to see what you guys use. -What size filler rod? -What size tungsten? -What color tungsten? -Amperage? -Purged or Solar Fluxed? I'm assuming a Miller welder? My goal is to get to that quality one day... https://honda-tech.com/forums/images...es/emsmile.gif |

Wow, tiny filler rod there!
Also, whats up with no glove? <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Ekasey »</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote"> http://www.we-todd-did-racing.com/we...ZkMzF5NTQx.jpg </TD></TR></TABLE> |

Re: Header Done by Burns Stainless LLC Sr20 NA thin gage 321 SS (Ekasey)
Casey, good looking work as always.

Then again you don't have to use high heat, which would not be to bad on the hands. |
CASEY!!!!!!!!!! Whats up pal! Let me know where your getting those head flanges, or if you can make me some. We have RWD NA SR20 Header Job in the works.
|
Re: (LSiTurbo)
that filler isnt small considering how thin the material is. I use .035" even on .065" tubing. Obviously you need to add more to get the same amount of filler in the weld but that affords you very good control.
Header seems to work really well. good job https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif |
