Default Electronic Boost Controller

A pressure sensitive sensor will produce some sort of signal right? Im pretty sure it wouldnt be hertz like a RPM switch but posibly a voltage? Wouldn't it be plausible to have a switch that opens at a given voltage relative to the boost you would want to run with the switch grounding a solenoid in the vaacum line going to wastegate? I dont know what type of signal the boost sensor would produce but this seems viable. I just saw an Eboost controller selling for 500 bucks or something and it got me going. Thanks.
