haha, I know what you're saying about redoing ****. Definately looks good though! And thanks for the heads up on the ECT gauge pin!

i would recommend some atum or (if permissible, raychem boots) at the end of the connectors. this would help keep debris out and protect from electrical failure. btw, looks good. i just finished a 32 hour harness, probably the hardest one yet.

Thanks man, and no problem. Also Kataku, for the ECT you can always cut the wire off of the OEM pin, tin the new wire, and solder directly to the pin. Thats perfectly fine and will not break off.

Whats up Gary. Im not sure if you were reffering to me or Kataku but on our harnesses we use new OEM boots inside the connectors. So its as good as OEM/better.

this is some A++ work.

chase- i am curious what that large deutsch autosort connect connects to on the inside cabin harness.

any pics?

do you end up redoing the inside cabin harness too?

if the price is right i might ask you to make me one. let me know what it looks like inside.

do you make new harnesses for the cabin harness?

more pics please.

what is the max gauge you guys recommend on the new harness?
or do you mix it up on the certain wires?
like thicker wires on high current ones and normal thickness on non high current items.

for certian wires you need them to be shielded. besides that normal wires are betweend 14-20 gauge.

if your planning on upgrading tremendously, just remember, that wire has to fit in the pin for the given connector

you can get 2-conductor or 3-conductor shielded (either foil or braided) pre-made... or you can make your own using braided sleeving and heat shrink

Most of the wiring that was posted in this thread was done by me, the person who posted it does not work for me.

Here is the harness for my personal vehicle Its not done and its just mockup.
