need help, just put in new clutch and it is slipping
I am newb and i am sorry that my first post has to be like this but i do need help, so here is the story:
last week i bought 95 Prelude for $430, girl said the clutch was bad and it was slipping, i was able to drive(very carefully) the car to my home, so this past weekene i put new clutch in(my first time ever working on a honda), took me whole 3 days. Last night once i got everithing done i took it for a spin and it seemed to drive normal, so i let it run for few minutes untill i cleand up all the tools sat back in the car and it wouldn't move, first i thought rear brakes must have locked up, so i shut the car off and went to bed. well today i took apart rear brakes, while at it i put new pads on and flushed the fluit, sat back in the car and test drove it agian seamed to be ok so once again i let it sit whle running untill i cleand up all the tools sat back in the car and same thing, except this time i know it has nothing to do with brakes. after having friend come over and look at it we figure that the clutch is slipping.
the car has ABS light on (is brake system tied up to clutch system?)
the car has check engine light on (never got around reading codes)
Do i need to manually adjust clutch pedal?
any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Nedim
