Default Clutch Problems!! Plz Help

Aight so I got my hatch back on the road.....decided to take a lil long drive to Tortilla Flats. Drive was fun on the way up. But after we reached the end of the pavment and turned back around back into "town" something happened. Lost Clutch pressure. Thank gawd I made it home. Here is whats up, I need opinons and ideas to fix it.

Got back after a lil spirited driving, pulled off the road into the dirt hill with a semi steep slope. I had put it in nuetral (clutch in and in 2nd) to move slow over the change from payment to dirt, and when I shifted into 1st and started to let go of the clutch it didn't grab....I accidently rev'd it to like 5k since I'm used to where the clutch grabs. I started rolling back, so I slammed on my brakes and put it in neutral.

I put it back into 1st and tried again this time letting the clutch completely out and it moved. But sputter'd. It bother'd me. So I parked it, check out the fluid and it was black and a lil low. but no sign of a visible leak. So we jumped back in the car and started driving.

1. Car only moved in 1st when clutch is completely let out and gassed. But if too much throttle is applied it slips (sputters) and jumps a bit.

2. I can Shift into 2nd but it takes a while to catch, plus I need to keep the revs down to allow it to catch.

3. Same in third.

4. After a while of driving with no clutch pumpin and I shift into 4th (or downshift back into 3rd or 2nd) it grabs easier but still very lil clutch pressure, just no slipping/jumping or as much.

Hmm I think thats all. I already checked the following:

1. No leaks at clutch cylinder, slave, or lines, as well as under the dash.

2. Replaced slave with known working one from my 4dr EG.

3. Completely drain'd system, and refiled and bled for quite a bit.

So I dunno what else to do other than replace the Clutch Cylinder. The one on the hatch is an aftermarket one that I installed about 2 years ago if not more (bought at nopi.com, tokico brand). My 4dr EG (donor motor car) has a working one when the motor was pulled to go into my hatch, so i might swap them out.

What I need to know from you guys is what am I looking at here. Clutch?? hydrolic problems?? or signs of a bad or "out" clutch?

Its a d15b7 (DX SOHC) in a 92 hatch with EX (d16z6) Tranny with after market clutch (not sure what w/ I/H/E/FPR/Ground kit. Nothing majorly done to it. Help a brother out. Car does drive but has synthoms as I listed above.

Thanks in Advanced!!

EXACT same thing happened to me. and after replacing, slave, nothing, then master cylinder, nothing.

bell housing was removed, and pressure plate/diaphram were trashed.

literally, the day before, my car was doing just fine, just happened. i didnt have much warning, like your situation.

so, i think you need to replace your clutch or pressure plate.

hope that experience of mine helps, and good luck with your problem!

I guess I have to take the dive and buy a new clutch kit.

1 more Question:

Where can I get a good deal on an aftermarket clutch kit to just replace it all??

yes, i believe it is just a oem replacement.

try and find the stage 1 organic that holds like 25-30% more power than stock, that is the one that i am running until i get more mods..it is perfect and grabs awesome. should be around 160-180 bucks..
